Boost your productivity by optimising how you use your time. TimeWise provides an easy to use Pomodoro timer to allow you to simply apply the Pomodoro Technique®. The Pomodoro Technique® was devised to help you get things done quicker whilst minimising loss of concentration.

A Pomodoro consists of a work period which is followed by a break, before starting on the next task. Complete four pomodoros and it's time to take an extended break. This app will help you manage this process, allowing you to concentrate on the tasks at hand and relax during your well earned breaks.

TimeWise will help you define and prioritise a list of tasks you need to do. You can also estimate the number of pomodoros a task will take and plan your time accordingly. Then by encouraging the use of the Pomodoro Technique®
TimeWise will help you split these tasks up into manageable periods with regular short breaks in between.

Keep track of how much work you have done today and always know what you are going to work on next. You can also easily see how accurate your pomodoro estimates were to further understand how your time is being used and plan your time even better in the future.

- Define and prioritise task lists so you always know what you'll be working on next.
- Pomodoro timer to keep track of progress while working on a task and inform you when it's time to take a break.
- Personalize using green, red, or blue themes
- Collect statistics about progress made each day and also view overall statistics about your work, see the number of pomodoros against each task along with weekly and overall pomodoro counts.
- Fully configurable to match your work style. Configure the length of a pomodoro, a regular break and extended break along with the number of work tasks to be completed before an extended break to best optimise how you use your time.

Bugs, but nice layout and very useful Break-end alarms don't seem to sound sometimes. When the break alarm sounded while in focus, I hit the home screen button, switched back to the app and it asked me to start my break (even though I just finished it). I like how it keeps track of how many pomodoros are put toward tasks in a day and the extended stat page it has.

Laura Ulrich at Sept. 23, 2014

Good, but needs improvement The thing I like best about this app is that I can use it to remind myself to take breaks- get up and stretch once in a while in the middle if a project. However, a couple things I would like to see added are the ability to remove tasks from your list of completed ones (for those times when you accidentally set the timer for the wrong thing), and the ability to have long tasks and short tasks. I have also recently had a problem where my timer resets part way though.

Mark L. at May 27, 2014

Just what I was looking for I wanted a timer that would allow me to make a list of tasks to do and use the pomodoro technique to complete each task. This app does just that, and even has statistics for completed tasks/pomodoro's, etc... The only thing I would change is to have an option to automatically start the break and second pomodoro (if multiple pomodoro's are needed) without having to press a button to start them. An ad-free version and a widget (current task + time left on task or break) would also be nice.

Amazing ICS+ interface A very well done app without much trouble other than ads in the free version. Perfect for anybody looking to be efficient with the pomodoro technique

J. Michael Eugenio at Jan. 29, 2014

It won't finish a task and a few other bugs It won't finish a task and will always reset it. I'm not using any task killers either. Before it wouldn't let the phone enter deep sleep whatsoever, even if no timer was currently running. It also shows the wrong task at times, particularly during breaks when it defaults to the first task. It looks great and is feature rich, but these bugs have to be ironed out. It is very frustrating to not have a reliable timer.

Best Free Pomodoro App I've Seen The task management built-in alongside the timer is superb. Though I would love to suggest one feature. Are you guys (developers) familiar with Battery Doctor? It can display an icon that shows the battery percentage in the status bar which is a pretty neat feature. Why not do something similar with your timer? Instead of a boring old icon, let it display the minutes (ONLY: 24, 23, etc.) left before the time runs out so we can keep track of the time while using other apps. Then if only seconds are left then let it display that (ONLY: 59, 58). This is how Pomodoro works in Tomighty, a desktop app I use. I hope you guys read suggestions, it would make the app PERFECT.

Loving the app Very useful application, like the fact the developer listens to you and fixes any issues... Recommend 5 stars *****

Marcin Gil at Jan. 29, 2014

Unable to finish task The app crashes from time to time. However the most single annoying thing is that I am unable to mark task as finished. Click it and on action bar buttons appear shortly then disappear and app hangs. After restart task is marked as unfinished.

Wiilliiam Parker at Jan. 26, 2014

best user interface but battery drainer i really wanted to give 5 stars. at first its the best app i found at play store. secondly UI is very user friendly, easy to use and elegant looking. And graphical statistics are the main points what makes this app so great. unfortunately it is open on the background all the time and drains battery really fast. if. only if this weakness could be solved, i would even pay for it. For now, im afraid to use it, if im not near at charger or any computer...

Nadya De Angelis at Feb. 7, 2014

doesn't work Nice idea, poor implementation. It freezes on "Less than a minute remaining" stage, then it restarts. Then nothing happens again.

Jasmine Davis at March 22, 2014

Good app! But... My only main gripe with this app is that it drains the battery like crazy, regardless if it's playing in the background or if you have the app open. Please fix!

Anandkumar Dhole at April 9, 2014

App is very productive But still needs some improve ments such .....excitability of each task and separate pomodoro timing for each task....

Kontar Mwamba at Jan. 7, 2014

Needs an ad free version The ads are annoying. They need an in-app purchase process for removing the ads. I'd be willing to pay for the app. Uninstalling.

Anderson Petris at April 9, 2014

The best I've tried many but only this is complete with many options that help in my activities.

Борис Сапрунов at Jan. 24, 2014

Great up needs further development Is that a way to make separate timer for every task.

Rohan Chopra at Jan. 6, 2014

Also add levels Fix the issue with time. The pomodoros before 12 noon get added to previous day's account. I am using 24 hour clock format Edit: fixed

So useful when you have to do a lot of work for the next day and that u feel lazy

kren Tunay at March 30, 2015

Best pomodoro timer for me I wish the timer would work even in the background.

Adrian Lee at Feb. 2, 2014

Good features, but drains battery The app keeps the phone from sleeping while a timer is active, which reduces battery life.

Ryan Hinshelwood at March 12, 2014

Poor This hoses my battery unfortunately, and it's crashed several times on Day 1. It also took a while to display any completed pomodoros on the statistics screen. Also, you can't change the task of an active pomodoro, which is a bummer if you're already half way through. You can't skip to complete pomodoros, if for example you accidentally cancel one near its end. It doesn't reset your break positions at the start of a day, and there's no way to force it.
